Dr Julian Kenyon

Dr Julian KenyonDr Julian Kenyon is an integrated medicine physician and Medical Director of the Dove Clinic for Integrated Medicine, Winchester and London.

Dr Julian Kenyon is Founder-Chairman of the British Medical Acupuncture Society in 1980 and Co-Founder of the Centre for the Study of Complementary Medicine in Southampton and London where he worked for many years before starting The Dove Clinic in 2000. He is also Founder/President of the British Society for Integrated Medicine and is an established authority in the field of complementary treatment approaches for a wide range of medical conditions.

He has written approximately 20 books and has had many academic papers published in peer review journals and has several patents to his name. He graduated from the University of Liverpool with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery and subsequently with a research degree, Doctor of Medicine. In 1972, he was appointed a Primary Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh.


Dr Richard Fuller

Dr Richard FullerDr Richard Fuller is a traditionally trained GP, with a family heritage in homeopathy, who has moved with his wife and two children from Derby to join the practice.  Before training in General Practice Dr Fuller worked as a hospital doctor in England and Australia. In General Practice he achieved a distinction in the MRCGP examination, and prior to joining the Dove Clinic was working as a GP Partner in a practice in Derbyshire. As a GP Dr Fuller saw patients with a huge variety of conditions , demonstrating a particular interest in the holistic management of Diabetes.

He has post-graduate qualifications with the Faculty of Homeopathy and has undergone post graduate training with the British Medical Acupuncture Society. He enjoys practicing an integrated and holistic approach to healthcare.

Dr Richard Fuller’s clinical interests include mindfulness-based cognitive behavioural therapy to help patients overcome depression and anxiety, traditional Chinese medicine, nutritional supplementation, photodynamic therapy, dendritic cell therapy, homeopathy and Enhanced External Counter Pulsation (EECP) – a non-invasive treatment for angina and heart disease. Dr Fuller is
the Clinic's lead doctor for EECP.


Dr Silvia Bretschneider

Dr Silvia BretschneiderBefore coming to the UK in 2004, Dr. Bretschneider has been working as a GP in Germany, and she has been qualified in Complementary Medicine since 1985. As an ethnic Chinese, and being a fluent reader, writer and speaker of Mandarin, she repeatedly went to China to study Traditional Chinese Medicine with special interest in Acupuncture since the mid 1980’s, and she received a degree from Xiamen University for Acupuncture and Moxibustion in 1991, and she has been a member of the Chinese Association of Acupuncture and Moxibustion since 1996.

Silvia Bretschneider is a very broadly qualified doctor having had experience in all of the different aspects of Integrated Medicine, she has a particular interest in traditional Chinese medicine and acupuncture, especially in relationship to Womens’ Health.  

For more than thirty years she lived in Germany and ran her own successful Integrated Health practice for 15 years until 2003, when she relocated to the UK to join her husband, who works as an Anaesthetist within the NHS.

 


Dr Lee Burton Dr Lee Burton

Dr Lee Burton has extensive medical experience gained from many years varied practice, especially in his rural General Practice, which enabled him to develop Integrated Medicine and a Homeopathic approach, with the result that 1/3 of his NHS prescriptions were for Homeopathic remedies.  He also has an interest in musculoskeletal medicine in relationship to Acupuncture. 

He is a key member of the Centre for Integrated Health, Cullompton, Devon and is now working part time for the Dove clinic having been inspired by the innovative treatment approaches pioneered.
